A PARTICULAR TIRAMISU' with our UNIQUE Gran Riserva GRAPPA

Today we're talking about Tiramisu', a typically Italian spoon dessert loved and appreciated all over the world.

Its origins seem to start right from Tuscany, placing its "conception" at the end of the 17th century and more precisely in Siena, where on the occasion of a visit by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Cosimo III de' Medici, the city dedicated this dessert to him, which he called precisely "the soup of the Duke

A huge success, because in addition to being delicious, it was even attributed aphrodisiac properties. And it is precisely for this reason that the dessert changed its name, assuming the decidedly allusive one of "tiramisu.

Making Tiramisù is decidedly less complex than one might think. We will offer you the classic recipe but with a decidedly noteworthy variable, the GRAPPA, specifically our grappa UNIQUE GRAN RISERVA

PREPARATION: 30 minutes and 4 hours of cooling

INGREDIENTS (for 8 people)

Whip only the egg yolks with the sugar in a bowl with a whisk until you obtain a light and frothy mixture.

With a wooden spoon, work the mascarpone in another bowl until it becomes a smooth cream without lumps.

Add the egg yolks and sugar mixture to the mascarpone and mix everything well.

Then whip the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and gently fold them into the egg and mascarpone cream

Mix the two decilitres of Grappa Unique Gran Riserva and the coffee at room temperature in a bowl, then add 2 tablespoons of water.

Quickly dip the biscuits into the mixture so that the biscuits are well soaked but not completely soaked.

Line the bottom of a ceramic plate with low edges with a layer of ladyfingers. Then spread a layer of mascarpone cream on top, leveling it well with a spatula.

Proceed with a second layer of ladyfingers and cover them with the remaining cream. Sprinkle with bitter cocoa and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

Another composition alternative is to create, following the same procedure above, the single portions in glasses or bowls with a particular shape.

The suggested final decorations can be bitter chocolate beans, strawberries or mint leaves.

Now you just have to try and taste the result.

UNIQUE, Grappa GRAN RISERVA comes from pomace of Sangiovese grapes from Tuscany and is distilled exclusively with artisan method by feeding the distillation plant in a non-continuous manner.
